This file contains supplementary information for the NeoMagic Display Driver installation.

   Installing NeoMagic Display Driver
   Contents of Installation directory

   To install NeoMagic Display driver
   Use this procedure to install the NeoMagic display driver for
   Windows 3.1x.

    * OmniBook
    * The appropriate OmniBook Recovery CD.
    * One formatted floppy disk.

   1. Connect the ac adapter to the OmniBook. 

   2. Connect the floppy disk drive to the OmniBook's parallel
      port (floppy drive cable required).

   3.  Boot Windows 3.1x

   4. Insert a blank formatted disk into the floppy disk drive.

   5. Install the CD-ROM drive into the module bay.

   6. Insert the Recovery CD into the CD-ROM drive.

   7. From the CD-ROM drive, copy the files in  
      \Omnibook\Drivers\Win95\Video to the floppy disk.  The floppy disk 
      you have just created is the Windows 3.1x display driver 
      installation diskette

   8.  Pull-down File menu and select Run option.

   9.  Type 'A:\SETUP', and press the <ENTER> key.

  10.  Follow instructions for Setup.

  11.  After Setup completes, restart Windows.

  12.  While in Windows 3.1x enter Control Panel and select
    'Video Configuration' program icon.

  13.  Once in Video Configuration program, select preferred
    settings then hit 'OK'.

  14.  Then select Restart if want changes to take effect.  If
    want to have changes take effect next time booting Windows
    then select 'Continue'.
